  8. When using the "WordPerfect 5.0 & 5.1" export filter in Ami Pro, the export 
  9. options dialog box does not display.  Is there a way to have the export 
  10. options display?

  12. SOLUTION:
  13.  
  14. When you choose Save As and choose the "WordPerfect 5.0 & 5.1" export filter, 
  15. no export options display.  The file will export using the default settings 
  16. for export "Ignore styles" and WordPerfect 5.1 format.

  18. If you need to export using the other available options ("Convert styles", 
  19. "Apply styles", and WordPerfect 5.0 format), the "ShowOptions" line in the 
  20. AMIWP.INI file must be changed to a value of 1 so the export option dialog box 
  21. displays.

  23. HOW TO EDIT THE AMIWP.INI FILE
  24.  
  25.   1. Exit Ami Pro.
  26.   2. From the Windows Program Manager, load Notepad.
  27.   3. Choose File / Open.
  28.   4. Type AMIWP.INI in the "File name" edit box.
  29.   5. Choose OK.
  30.   6. Choose Search / Find.
  31.   7. Type SHOWOPTIONS in the "Find What" edit box.
  32.   8. Choose Find Next.
  33.   9. Choose Cancel.
  34.  10. Press END.
  35.  11. Backspace twice over "no".
  36.  12. Type 1.  The line should read "ShowOptions=1".
  37.  13. Choose File / Close.
  38.  14. Choose YES to save changes.
  39.  15. Load Ami Pro.  Whenever you export to "WordPerfect 5.0 & 5.1", the export 
  40.      options dialog box will be displayed.
